I gave up on my 11 Pro Max as it degraded to 87% of its capacity in 10 months under normal use with no abuse. Apple said this was normal and wouldn't cover it in the warranty so I've no faith in going back to them sadly. Apple put a relatively small battery in the Max compared to other larger phones and rely on the incredible power efficiency of their software and the A13/14 Bionic chips. If the battery is compromised in anyway like mine was, you have to keep recharging 2-3 times to get through a day. In my experience, Apple after-sales support has degraded, they used to exercise discretion and not look for excuses. They want you to stump up more money for their aftercare package.

I got 12promax and it is beast ..all day battery and 20% at the end of the day..camera lenses amazing video stabilization perfect ,display crazy..I recommend this beast ..if you have money.

I spent about 1100 on my s10+ 2 years ago, getting this for the same price point as an upgrade seems fine to me. The price point hasn't shifted much for the newer phones, so I don't see a reason not to continue the trend of "biggest phone in town"

This is a relationship with God. I am telling all this because I care for you. Even though I don't know you personally, I know that your soul is extremely precious to God. The reason I am posting it here is because we never know when our last moments are. It could be anytime from now and I don't want you to end up in hell. I purchased 12 Pro Max, despite the reviews being not overly positive. I am absolutely happy with it. I was afraid it will feel huge (my previous phone was iPhone X), but it immediately felt very natural, just perfect for my needs. I am mostly consuming content: reading newspaper, watching GEtvs, some Facebook, Twitter, IG,... Waze, Netflix,... Unlike iPhone X, now I'd be just fine watching a whole movie on the phone. The screen is 20% larger than on 12 Pro and everything just feels so much more comfortable! Typing on larger keyboard is super nice. Yet the phone still fits just fine to my back pocket, and I use it mainly in my (home) office, not really walking around that much. I didn't really care about the camera, but gotta admit the photos look great. Only *disadvantage* is the phone feels noticeably heavier, but that was of course expected. Also the fingertips were all over immediately after unboxing, the finish is just stupid. But I bought Apple leather case immediately with the phone, so I worked around that problem. Oh, it's ridiculously expensive, I was thinking really hard before splashing the cash. But I am happy with the purchase, pleasantly surprised actually.

Glad I watched this. I just got off the phone w/Verizon and was THIS close to closing a deal on the 12 ProMax, but lost the connection TWICE. A photographer friend highly recommended the ProMax for the camera, but now you're saying not such a big deal. Considering the extra price, I think I will wait a while and enjoy more review videos. I presently have an iPhone 11 which is fine....but hey, it's always tempting to upgrade (although a pain in the neck to do so). Thanks for your review.

I'm switching to the iphone 12 pro max. The first time I'll own an apple phone since 2010. 11 years of galaxy/android. Mostly doing it because of the eco system. Sad to say but I'm honestly giving in because everyone I know has an iphone so it would be easier to facetime and be added to groupchats. Thank god I'll still have my s10+ on the side for my android addiction when needed. Probably going to use my android still for power usage like gaming and movies because I know iphone batteries usually go to shit after a few months

I just purchased it today and it is my first iPhone. I have been an android person since the droid came out. It is a good phone from what I can tell, but I am watching all kinds of videos to learn how to use an apple product as it is so different in so many ways from android. I purchased this one because of the size as it was most comparable to my Samsung Note. The camera may not have stood out to be all that you expected, but I do find it to be a good camera. Believe it or not, my reason for leaving android behind was because of the strong stance that Apple has taken in regards to privacy and for me, that was enough for me to learn a new system. Thanks for this review and some of your other videos as I am learning much.
